How it works
Clinical Hynoptherapy is the use of hypnosis to help a person to bring relief to existing conditions and unwanted beliefs by positively changing their emotions, attitudes, habits that will create new behaviour allowing the person to gain greater control or perhaps regain control.
Hypnosis is thought to work by altering your state of conscious, in such a way that the analytical left hand side of the brain is quietened down, while the non-analytical right-hand is made more alert. This allows the unconscious mind to come to the foreground where is able to accept suggestions more easily.
The logic mind is just the tip of the ice berg representing about 1/10 of your mental capacity whereby the unconscious mind represents the vast remainder of untapped resources.

The unconscious mind contains all your memories, emotions, experiences, habits, beliefs, and values. It controls your automatic thoughts and behaviours and this is the part, which has to change in order for your behaviour state to alter.
Hypnosis is a very safe and natural state that we all go into easily several times a day. Hypnosis occurs when we become so engrossed in whatever it is we are doing and we lose awareness of what is going around us. Have you ever been driving and forgotten parts of your trip? Or have you ever been watching a movie or been reading a book and forgotten where you are? Have you ever daydreamed?....then you have gone into the trance state of hypnosis
Then this heightened altered state of awareness that you have been in, is the same, as you would experience in Hypnotherapy. The process can be a very enjoyable experience. In this pleasant state, the subconscious becomes freer and more receptive to new information allowing it transform by accepting positive and beneficial suggestions, to release those emotional blocks, habits, behaviours, that have been acting as obstacles to achieving your goals.
Hypnosis is useful for relaxation and stress management, to contact our inner wisdom, to transform habits and unconscious patterns of behaviour from negative to positive, releasing emotions blocks by clearing trauma from the memory banks, assisting the autonomic nervous system and stimulating the immune system to reduce pain or eliminate pain, to restore bodily processes to natural function and to heal injury or illness.
